Testimonial kitchen

Last spring my husband and I purchased a classic 1960s cottage. It was dark, chopped up into claustrophobic little rooms and had a tiny kitchen. When I opened the only large kitchen cupboard I discovered the hot water tank!

We decided to tear out everything with the kitchen being the first to go. Once we had just the exterior walls and the large fireplace we sent the dimensions to Mary Ellen. The kitchen was the key to the entire floorplan. We wanted a bright and open kitchen/living space to entertain friends and family. We were working on a tight budget and short timelines. We really wanted to get settled in asap.

Mary Ellen sent me some great floorplans and we were able to decide on one that makes great use of the space, gives us tons of storage and counter space, and will easily accommodate many chefs in the kitchen at the same time.

The quality of the cabinets is incredible. I had considered a less expensive kitchen line but I’m glad I didn’t. These cabinets are so solid and beautiful and I know they will stand the test of time. They are real wood, each cabinet was already put together and came with clear instructions and everything else my contractor needed to install them. They are custom cabinets with all the bells and whistles.

Of course, I was a little skeptical about buying a high end kitchen online but honestly it was no problem. What was great was that no matter where I was I could easily communicate with the Foremost design team via email or phone. Actually, it was nice not to have to go to a store repeatedly. I was able to do it all from the comfort of my house, my cottage, or my car.

Every time someone comes into the cottage, the first thing they comment on is the kitchen cabinets. Everybody thinks we spent a fortune on them and are shocked when I tell them how affordable they were. I couldn’t be happier with Foremost Kitchens and I recommend them to everyone. Now we have the nicest kitchen on the lake!
